The CORBA PV & Giant Bicycle Company sponsored trail workday at the Forrestal Nature Preserve on December 10 was a huge success. We had a record setting 103 volunteers contributing over 300 hours to remove chain link fence, trim brush, install water diversions, and plant native grass. Giant Bicycle Company donated water bottles and bike related goods for the volunteers. CORBA served a free Pollo Loco lunch and drinks to about 60 hungry and tired workers. It was great to see a large variety of groups volunteer for this important work. We hope that more local organizations will encourage their members to participate.
